Seth Thomas Barnett, DMD, MS

The team at Endodontic Specialists is led by Seth Thomas Barnett. He was born and raised in Bloomington, IL and is overjoyed to return home with his family to serve our community! In 2020, Dr. Barnett purchased Endodontic Specialists, previously lead by Dr. Sieraski, who is known in the community for providing high-quality care. Dr. Barnett is excited to continue this tradition of excellence and is eager to care for you!

Dr. Barnett is a lifelong learner and provides the highest quality and evidence-based care. He stays up to date with the latest literature and utilizes technologies that allow your treatment to be more predictable, comfortable, and successful. Technologies include operating microscopes, 3D CBCT imaging, ultrasonic instrumentation, and the highest levels of infection control, to name a few. He is currently board eligible with the American Board of Endodontics and is actively pursuing board certification. During his time at The Ohio State University, he took advantage of the renowned program and its focus on local anesthetic delivery to insure the most comfortable root canal experience.

From the start of his educational and professional career, Dr. Barnett has been involved in organized dentistry. He has actively engaged with our state legislature to insure they are educated about our community’s dental and overall health as they make legislative decisions. He also served his dental school by playing a part in insuring the highest level of professional ethics.  With the community’s best interest in mind, he is looking forward to being active in the local McLean County Dental Society.

During his free time, he spends time with his wife, Carli, and his growing family. He also enjoys hiking, cycling, photography, and generally spending time outdoors.
